About the play
The mother of a seven-year-old girl attempts suicide. The girl, wanting to help her mother, begins a list of every brilliant thing in the world that is worth living for. Now an adult, she comes to tell us her story, asking the audience to play all the other people in her life.
The play by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe was first staged in 2013 in the United Kingdom and since then has been on tour around the world. Having won the Critics' Pick of the New York Times and rave reviews by The Guardian, Time Out, Independent, Evening Standard, Telegraph and Sunday Times, and following its huge success enjoyed in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand, came to Greece for the first time in the spring 2017.
'Heart-wrenching, hilarious...possibly one of the funniest plays you'll ever see, full stop.' ★★★★ The Guardian
'Funny, clever and surprisingly uplifting.' ★★★★ The Telegraph
'Filled to the brim with joy...beautiful, heart wrenching and very funny.' ★★★★ Time Out London
