It’s been more than 25 years since I’ve listen to that song (I bought the CD and went to see him on tour at the time)… I kept the tune in a corner of my head (sometimes singing just the 3 words of the title). My thoughts: Forgiveness is the key to healing. I survived the storms of my life. There is one reason that I am still alive: Gods grace and love. I called out upon his name as someone who was drowning. He took me out of deep waters, washed me clean and put me on a new path under his protecting hand. His love changed my heart and made me able to forgive others and at least myself. I am secure in his peace and I know: I am on my way to heaven.
