I didn’t realize wax was how that was done!! I knew there had to be some manner that you’d block off parts but I’ve never looked into how it’s done. That’s really cool and makes a lot of sense

Some of my earliest memories involve being at my grandmother's pottery shop. My favorite part of the nostalgia is the smell. The fresh clay smell. My grandmother sold the shop when I was 5. What I wouldnt give to go back and experience that one more time.

Hey I’m a potter. Quick description of glaze - powdered glass in a liquid suspension…sometimes coloured!
Glaze is also ‘thixotropic’ like cornflour and water mixed together. 😊
