Ukrainian police on Sunday shared video showing the aftermath of Russian shelling in the city of Lysychansk, in the Luhansk region.

The video shows damaged administrative buildings, residential buildings and roads. Police said the headquarters for distributing humanitarian aid had been burned to the ground. They said more than 40 people had been living permanently in the building but no information on casualties was provided

This war will have a massive impact on the people of Ukraine for a very long time. My government should be doing more to end it as part of an international coalition of United Nations. Democracy and liberal democracy are too important to let Putin win this war. ❤️🇺🇦

In the former soviet republic of Ukraine this building was a center of extracurricular activities for many children of Lysychansk, including myself. In "independent" Ukraine this historical building became a center of military-civil organization (0:41), obviously making it a target ... Why did military house a building in the historical city center?

The building housed the headquarters of the 115th Volkssturm brigade.
