When I turned 40 y/o, I suddenly began to have issues with my calf / straining them while playing B-Ball. I'd never had any injury issues, ever, to that point in time. I finally saw a spoerts medcine MD who told me i was eisking a torn calf or even Achilles, if I didn't stop playing B-Ball. I was devastated, but I did listen & sadly, stop playing the game I loved so much. that's what happens with the passage of time. 2 of my friends kept on playing. One has had 2 total knee surgeries, & the other, a total knee & a total hip replacement . Both said it was worth the extra years ; I doubt it. ----MJL, 77 y/o

I just turned 55 this week and my left hip has been tender last couple days. Last year it was my right hip and groin. Old working man injuries are absolutely real.

Long time Chicago fan here. I hated to see Justin fields traded. I thought and still believe with the right line and right game plan he could be amount the best. I hope he goes on to have a hall of fame career. He’s got the athletic ability and he has the football IQ. Now he just needs to be in the right situation. I think that happened!
