I have been following with my BIBLE, ( I'm using the King James Version ) at timestamp 17:17 you spell the word emrods, but my BIBLE spells that word as emerods.

Oh, so they were Greeks. Up to this point he was referring to them simply as seafaring. Their being Greek explains the distinction so much better.
