Back into the barn find MK2, 1986 VW Jetta Turbo Diesel. Links to the previous parts below. We go further into the head, trying to find out why so much raw oil is getting into the exhaust. We find out that the valve seals are bad for sure. Not sure if that is the only problem, but we complete the teardown of the head in this episode. Off to the machine shop for new valve guides and testing for cracks or warping.

you can do those guides yourself they are easy also there are tools to put in the seals you should do them with the tool or you will mess them up. I did these heads and engines for a living for years.
