As a 25 year owner of my 79 512bb carb car...the intake valves are the bottom lowest parts of the cylinders...they ALL smoke on start up....if driving weekly...it's just a few puffs.... if it has sat forever... it'll smoke for several minutes until the heads clean out....savant eh....maybe....maybe not.

There is leterally no vehicle from the 80's or older that is not worth more than it should. When i was 14 I bought a Honda C50 from a neighbour. It was completely disassembled and I took it home in a wheelbarrow, he insisted I return the wheelbarrow. I spent that summer putting it back together. I paid £4 for it.
It has sat in my garage for 30 years and I recently sold it for £2500.
