I own a 2015 S550, which I purchased used with 15, 000 miles, from a used car dealership in Houston. After watching your video, I learned that this vehicle came with headphones, but mine didn't have them. Something the previous owner or dealer kept. Nice to know. Your presentation was great. I have a custom made 2015 4Matic S 550 with a Certificate from the factory. It has the automatic high beams that go down automatically when another car is approaching from the opposite direction and also prevents the high beam from hitting the rear view mirror of the driver in front of you. I am not sure why you said that in the USA it is not allowed to have this feature.
Answers to some youtube questions :
1-The night vision is optional and you can switch it on and off. The cluster changes automatically when it detects an animal or a person on the road while driving in the dark.
2-The car has 92 computers
3- The "between the lines" feature not always works ( you cannot depend on it, you must keep your hands on the steering whee)
4- The automatic braking assist sometimes does not stop the car while another car is stopped at a stop light, but it gives you a beeping warning. However, it slows the car down to zero while in traffic and another car stops suddenly in front of you.
5-The " B " oil and filters change is not cheap. I just did it by the dealer and I paid $ 773.60 ( I am not complaining)
6-The " Run-Flat " tires need to be changed every 10-15 thousands miles maximum at a price of 460.00 per tire. ( This is not told by the dealer when he sells you the car)
7-The car is excellent in traffic, it stops and starts automatically that you do not have to hold the steering, push the gas or the brakes. It does it automatically and you can enjoy a conversation with the other passengers with no worry).
The park assist is excellent especially at night.
8-If you get tired the car senses your alertness and gives a beep and the steering wheel jerks to wake you up. A cop of coffee appears on the cluster and asks you to stop for a break. This saved my life couple of times.
9-The wipers have LASER holes for the windshields fluid and does not splash the drivers behind you.
10- The " change lines" blind spot triangle in the mirrors can save you from deadly accidents.

With the S series being so technologically advanced, having so many comfort features, and a variety of powerful engines to choose from, I don't see anyone with a right mind being compelled to get the Maybach S 600 Pullman.

Jonnie, That's easy. The S550 hands down. The Tesla actually lacks alot of the tech found in the S550 and the Tesla is considerably less comfortable.

Nice mini-review Alex...if you could afford either car, would you buy a V8 S500 or a maxed out Tesla P85-D? Would you opt for plus old-world luxury and comfort with lots of tech or all electric next century tech with Zen-like minimalist luxury interior.

What would you get for outright comfort and luxury for 4 adults on long trips. The S class, new BMW 7 series, or a used Bently? We're looking for a rolling living room and don't care about driving enjoyment or how fast it goes around a track. Also, reliability and safety are extremely important

Amazing luxury, but imagine how much that all cost to fix when, not if, it all starts failing. It's no wonder these cars have such terrible residual values after a few years. In just a few years, the repairs will start costing more than the car's worth.

Having to use the touch screen makes it difficult to adjust your seat on fly without taking your eyes off of the road.
