This week, we're going thrift shopping at the best flea market in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo City Flea Market is a must-visit weekend staple that attracts both bargain hunters and vintage shoppers alike. Sprawled across a massive open air parking lot, you can score almost any secondhand Japanese item you can think of. From Japanese antique collectibles to anime plushies to secondhand cameras and even vintage bowling shirts.

Thanks for an enjoyable video. My favourite flea market which I'll be visiting again in a few weeks. I went there almost every weekend for 10 years when I lived in Tokyo. Every day I enjoy using and looking at the antiques and collectables I purchased. I took the bus which was close to my home and always arrived just after 8am. Even though it is much larger now with more clothing and toys I noticed many of my favourite vendors are still there. My favourite food van sells chicken and rice/potatoes. The owner is amazing as he speaks Arabic, Italian, English and Japanese.

14:08 I can’t believe it, I got this exact same silk shirt from the OI market on Monday July 15th! It’s now hanging in my closet in Aruba. Wish I could send a pic. Loved the market so much, scored a kokeshi doll, some broches, pants. Just amazing. Love your content, Missing Japan!❤
