Micael Dahlen | Science of Wellbeing & Happiness | Talks at Google

Renowned Professor Micael Dahlen discusses his course on wellbeing, welfare, and happiness, which is the first professorship of its kind. Micael is based in Sweden and teaches at the Stockholm School of Economics. In his academic career he rapidly rose to a leading position in the intersecting areas of consumer behavior, human happiness, welfare, marketing, and creativity.

Professor Micael Dahlen is ranked number two in the world among researchers in his field (The Journal of Business Research, September 2021), and was nominated for the Business Professor of the Year Award by The Economist’s Intelligence Unit. He has written books on diverse topics such as marketing, happiness, serial killers, long term well-being and social media. His books are published in Europe, in Asia and in the United States. An internationally acclaimed speaker, Micael has given keynote presentations in cities around the world for companies such as Ericsson, Samsung, Deloitte, Volkswagen, Fujitsu, and Oriflame.
