You are so right about confusing the customer with the dropshipping and the quality issues. I remember one time I had ordered a glass item from ebay. It arrived in an Amazon box and it was broken. I was so confused as to what was going on because I had never heard of dropshipping back then. I just figured some person that I ordered from was sitting behind a computer taking orders from people and then they would place an order through Amazon and have it shipped out. 😆😆 So I kinda knew what was going on but didn't know the name of it.
