If you observe very closely to Depeche Mode's Martin L. Gore when he plays "Personal Jesus" is without doubt he's using this tuning. Johnny Marr used it also on many songs for The Smiths. A lighter gauge of the strings is the secret but not recommended for acoustic guitar.

I did it but a full octave down so i can play that meshuggah song

I just use a capo if I want a higher tuning don’t really feel like snapping strings

I used this trying to figure out “Nookie” by Limp Bizkit😂 but I tuned the F# an octave lower and The rest is in C# standard
