After getting sued for 125k the police chief said they “will be modifying our policies and practices when removing an individual with mobility limitations from a vehicle”. Like what?!?!?! Your old policies allowed for this?!?!?!?! What in tf type of establishment is that……

The attorney for the city actually went into court and argued that the cop should have "Qualified Immunity" because there's no case stating that a cop can't pull a paraplegic out by his hair. They lost. Really! This happened.

I saw this when it first came out. I immediately thought, "This moron doesn't know what paraplegic means." Really it does have a lot of syllables for a cop. A friend of mine thought that not everyone would understand the word. Well shouldn't the handicapped plate and the hand controls give him a clue ?
