I have the opposite problem, I have a 3T and need to add a additional streaming camera that can see IR Strobes/Lights for Search Operations. Apparently the FLIR on the 3T cannot see IR and can't be adjusted to do so. The only other option we have right now is using our ATAK app which is fine but we would rather be able to see where our search teams are with IR markers on camera verses having to check ATAK.

What is the range of the FLIR camera’s transmitter?

That mount needs a little better security - no lock nuts, no knurling - nothing to keep those nuts from backing off with vibration.
The FLIR and other thermal imaging cameras are also pixel limited - I think the biggest is like 320x240 - with no gimbal it likely has real vibration issues while flying.
That said - pretty cool.
