I'm not a musician so help me understand this cuz i'm actually a huge evanescence fan (and i'm starting to regret it). So you have Will Hunt, an amazing drummer, Troy Mclawhorn, an amazing guitarist who has been working with Will hunt for a long time, and you brought this German guitarist to replace Terry. It's been 6 year? since their self titled album, which overall was decent (not good, not amazing, but decent, considering the potential and the wait). So now she's telling us that she's going to bench all her band mates, they will not release a new album with new songs (maybe a couple), but she's going to remake their old songs that i've been listening to for decades but with orchestra instead of rock. How am I supposed to react as a fan of rock music? I'm honesty not holding my breath, and I heard the bring to life synthesis which was extremely underwhelming. Jesus, if you want to give up, just give up. I just hope to God the new Cold album will be good.
