The Godox TL30 RGB tube lights are put to the test in a run and gun interview setup.
Are the Godox TL30 powerful enough to be used as a keylight in a pinch?
With and output of 8W and a tempting price of just $90 These RGB LED Tube Lights offers some appealing features to say the least.
To put them to the test and shot an interview, only using two Godox TL30s and a simple 5 in 1 reflector. The Idea was to see how compact of a run and gun lighting kit I could put together. Including the most lightweight and compact stands. In this video I'll go through my setup as well as share some samples from the shoot to let you be the judge.
All in all the whole interview session was shot on modest equipment with the Canon SL2 / 200D along with the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens. So what you're seeing is shot on very obtainable and portable gear.
