i have gone to the food bank. when you are poor and can barely pay your bills it helps a lot.

I am pleased places like this exist, in Ellicott city Md they closed down 4 main pantries.

I dont see the difference between food stamps EBT and food banks theyre both free food that many rely on to feed them selves and family. Meals on Wheels too for that matter.

The only problem with some of these places that have clothes they don't have underwear or socks

So just say I qualify from the government to get food stamps of 200.00month. That 200.00 would go to the food pantry I register with. Instead of me getting 200$ I would get 200.00point's or credit's and the food pantry would have to price the product's accordingly to the product. And for those who don't get food stamp's would get determined at time of registration of how many point's they get.

Should'nt the money people receive for food stamps just be given to places like this and they would have to go to one of these places like this to get their food? This way the can have more product and maybe better stuff and hopefully discourge people from buying addicts food stamps at half price and keeping food on the table of the kid's

Of addicts who sell them. They can use their food card's only at these place's.
