On June 12, The New Normal podcast with Maydianne Andrade will debut Enough, the first episode of a special two-part series on anti-Black racism.

The special series will feature “open, transparent conversations about anti-Black racism, about policing, about violence and how we move past this to a healthy, more whole society,” says Professor Andrade, who is a Canada Research Chair in Integrative Behavioural Ecology and the University of Toronto Scarborough’s vice-dean of faculty affairs and equity.

Guests will include Dr. Onye Nnorom of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Mark Campbell of U of T Scarborough, Julius Haag, a PhD student in criminology, and alumnus Dorian Grey, who volunteers with the Imani academic mentorship program.

The weekly podcast, hosted by Andrade, is created in collaboration with a University of Toronto Communications team led by producer Lisa Lightbourn.

Those who need support are encouraged to contact the Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office and the equity, diversity and inclusion offices at U of T Scarborough and U of T Mississauga.
