If you are keeping the 3 splits, season finals should be a gauntlet format.

Excepting the winter lower final (when Adam was replaced by JNX) BDS only lost to FNC and G2 in playoffs

Having a format where the Summer final Can have no impact on worlds placements is not good lol

Mad making worlds was a disaster BDS should be going not mad

3 splits. Each award points.
At the end of summer split the top2 teams with highest points are sent to worlds.

Winter/spring splits send top2 teams to MSI/IEM and the winner gets a worlds place.

12 teams play at worlds, with 2 play-in spots for the rest of the world+top3 teams.
3rd place in groups goes home, the rest plays in the same way 2023 worlds played out.

The fact that BDS ESSENTIALLY finished third in all 3 splits and MAD still makes it despit poorr perfomance in the last 2 splits

yeah, that's why you dont pick a random portion of the full season.
They made finals in Winter and that should matter, BDS performed better the other 2 seasons and got a better draft in the Season final as reward, they just lost twice in a row.
Mad beat G2 and BDS didnt, after also losing to FNC, and that's why they are out. That's playoffs in any form that's ever existed.

You could argue that the format benefits teams with higher peaks, and that those teams could be the best to send to international.
