The image of the hagia sophia you're showing has muslim minarets on it. The Byzantine empire was christian so no muslim accoutrements. The muslim mutilation of the building took place after the turkish conquest of Constantinople

Wasn't it due to Theodora's influence that Justinian made belief in Reincarnation heretical? It was made heterodox in 533 and in a later edict even more forbidden in 553(?)...Origen wrote earlier there was no point in prosecuting people with heterodox beliefs because they would reincarnate and change their minds anyway, ..during the time of Justinian at least 50% of the Bishops believed in reincarnation...so perhaps it was rather a disaster this wasn't allowed to continue...we might not have had the Inquisition?
