Warm Audio really impressing me these days. Just got a U87 clone and I’m looking to pair that with their WA-73 EQ/preamp.

I have the TubeTech CL-2A here, and judging by both your examples and general description of the Warm Audio, it seems they're certainly similar. It's impossible for me to say *how* similar they are without having them rigth next to each other, but if it's anywhere near the Tube-Tech, then I think you won't regret getting one.

What are your thoughts on the WA-1B vs the Black Lion Seventeen as a vocal tracking and mixing compressor?

saving up for it lol i don't know if for the mic ima come back to the wa-800g i had issues with it having buzzing sound on it and i could hear like electric static on it like little pops as if it was charged with ions or something as a matter of fact i got shocked by it a couple times.

I’m trying to decide between this and a Distressor. I have the WA2A & 76 already. Maybe I should get the Distressor and sell the WA2A to cop this? Damn, decisions!

Thanks for the review. I’m sold 😂😂
Also, I believe Warm Audio gear is great for beginner engineers and those on limited budgets wanting to get into the analog world. Nothing really stood out to me about there stuff, well, until now 😂😂😂 but I’m growing into appreciating them more. I wanna try their Ampex tape/ tube preamp reproduction as well, the 2 channel one for tracking buses.
