Great tutorial. Today my battery indicator light came on, then the engine check light, then the horrid temperature gauge went into the red. After opening the hood I saw that the rubber seal around the hood scoop came off and was lodged into the drive belt. Noticing this horror me and my work colleague got to work. Every effort was futile, until I had a light bulb moment of searching YouTube for a fix. Here we are with no tools apart from a metal bar and a hammer, we released the tension and followed the configuration of your tutorial. The work truck is now up and running and saved a few hundred on a mechanic. Great work

Have a Hilux and my Drive belt popped and wrapped around the crankshaft. I was able to remove the belt and use your video to install the new one. Thanks a million!!👍

What if the belt is producing some smoke. It seems the IP is not functioning?

Should you replace the pulleys as well?
