Lost my American bully a few weeks ago from cancer. Best dog ever. Always protected my 3 little boys. And refused to sleep alone. 😂 he had to cuddle with you at all times. We miss him so much.

I have an olde double bully. Similar in size and athleticism as an American bully. Hes 10 months old. We’ve been shocked how strong, intelligent, and ACTIVE he is. He is already 75 lbs of discernible muscle and bulldog tenacity. Was not prepared because we expected the slow fat cuddly bulldog we saw on tv. Thank goodness we’re active enough to keep up. He’s a blessing 😂

My most, most, most favorite breed of dog. I've owned many pure bred American Bulldogs by rescue and by adoption as puppies. Even the abused American Bulldogs I rescued never ever gave me a reason to fear them and were always so gentle with me a woman under 5 feet tall. They are the cutest, sweetest, most loving, gentle, obedient, loyal, funniest, goofiest dog in the world. If they see you as family they love and protect you to their death. 305 PSI bite force will do the job. Even when my Chihuahuas attacked them at home and other dogs on the streets tried attack my huge American Bulldogs while walking them, my AmBulls ran away and never showed the slightest agression to other aggressive dogs. I was amazed. But they are not for first time dog owners until you get trained owning them because of their strength and stubborness.

My wife and I adopted an American bulldog. About 5 years ago, the dog was badly abused. However, after lots of patience love and training, Bella has come into her own is very protective and very loving. fantastic dogs. I don't know why anyone would want to abuse these animals

I've had two of these dogs. I can't recommend them highly enough. You need to socialise them and you need to train them. If you put in the work, you will have a smart and loyal dog for their entire life. My last one was comforting me when I was upset that she was dying. My mother also tested one of mine, with no guard dog training she was ready to defend my mum with no hesitation. Mine used to patrol the fence and stare out of the gate.

They are such sweet, gentle, loving creatures with the family....and a lit stick of dynamite with an intruder.

My first dog was an American bulldog(m) who's father was a Johnson and mother was a scott and he grew to a solid 105 of pure muscle. I had him 7 years until he developed hemangiosarcoma and passed. I now have a female pitbull that I love but nothing will ever compare to the bond I had with my american bulldog. Incredibly smart and confident, easiest training I've ever done and they are intensely loyal to their fanily and loved ones and will protect them at all costs. They are the best guard dogs and don't have to be trained on it, it's their natural instincts and the one I had was such a gentleman to female women and female dogs.

I'm 74 I have had dogs pretty much all my life my adult life it was brindle pits, family and working dog's and members of the family mostly catch dog's for hogs the last 5 has been Rottweiler's a must for any dog . If ever you are going to have your dog in public, you must make them social a simple thing just have them around people as often as possible all ages kids most especially, and I stress at a early age a puppy. Feed time is especially a good time to get bitten.

. When when small put food in a bowl and while it's eating put your hand in it's bowl while talking to it and petting it keep it calm . Then use something that it really likes then while talking to it take the object from it saying mine or leave it.
. You have to be able to build them up and bring them back down, when small play rough with them until they want to bite and snap at you, don't wait talk to them in a soft voice and pet them until they calm down, that's bringing them back down do this often when they are small but never build them up and leave them angry, do this and you will be able to get them off of something or someone with verbal commands. When training it's best to be one on one.
