Wish you would have put comparison to C-taper 130x lol. I’m going from the c-taper 130x to the axiom 105x (6-PW) then a 105s on the 4 iron.

Your description was spot on with the c-taper. It’s a lot of work to hit a half shot with it. It’s an all or nothing shaft. Harsh on the hands/joints if you’re playing all the time and have mishits 😂

great conent. been playing the 105s butt cut down -.5" since December. love these irons shafts. in my 2i-gw. 2i i went with the 105x.

Great video Freddie, I just had 105S installed into my Taylormade Stealths and used all your advice here to pick. I have the same miss left as you and have a very fast driver swing, but hate the board-like feeling of the X-stiff, like to feel the club loading a bit and seeing as you get the same benefits with no downsides, just went with the 105S. Got them dialed into D1. I didn’t realize but Taylormade says Stealths are stock D0/D1 off the rack, but when my club guy measured them, they were at C7. No wonder my miss was left 🙄 Moral: don’t believe manufacturer specs.

Went after ages playing Dynamic Gold to the V2 elevate tour „S“ 117g shaft in my PXG ST. They are smoother. But I don’t believe in their better dispersion claim with the VSS technology…especially after this saison 😅
The 105 S Axioms maybe the perfect fit for me. Any thoughts 🙏🏻

thank you for the great info. I just received my Srix/Clev forms for this year and I was delighted to have Axiom as an ordering option. I was leaning KBS S-taper, (the C-taper is great too). But I picked the Axiom from 6-LW. I am normally a KBS 610 guy in wedges. I'm curious to see how it all works out. Have you done any videos with a Axiom vs specialized wedge shafts?

Great video. I have been playing Steelfibre 95 stiff for past 3 years but feel I need to get little lighter as I age, now 66 yo. Anyway I have an Axiom 75S in my T-200 4 iron and love it. My fitter is a big fan of Accra iron shafts and am testing the TZi in the 85 & 95 gm regular, hard-stepped once. So far not happy with the Accra’s as I find they are very boardy. Going to try the Accra 70 gm i series shaft shortly.

Question- am I wasting my time testing the Accras and do you believe the Axioms are just superior in your fittings? Thanks.

Interesting to see that the KBS 130x ball speed and spin are more similar to the 75s and 105s when you would think it would match closer with the 125x.

Hi... I like your videos. Thank you. I took your advice on the Axioms last time I reached out and love them. Got a question: Context: I'm 67 and a 5HC. I am NOT particularly long, but long enough and I have Axiom 105 S in my clubs (Miz 245). I'm switching to a ZX7/ZX Forged combo. I was thinking about putting a lighter/higher launching shaft in my 4 and 5 (and sticking with my 105s in the rest of my clubs). Would the Axiom 75s be a good move in the 4, 5 or would you think something like a TGI 90 would be a better fit? Thanks. I know you're just guessing for me, but I would appreciate it (my swing speed on a 7 iron is around 84 mph). I guess I'm asking if the 75s are too light. I would install tip weights to keep the swing weight up....

Very interested in getting some graphite shafts in my i230 irons and wedges thinking the MMt shafts as the axioms bit pricey esp when wanting to do all my clubs.

How do the mmt compare to the axioms would love to see a comparison

Trying to decide between 105S and 105X. I play the Modus 120X now. SS with 7 iron is 86-88. The Modus 120S I just dont hit as good as the X but I realize the Modus play softer in general. Thoughts?

Cant decide between 105s and 105x. I play 1" long $ taper 130x now and i cant get the face closed easy at all and its just to damn heavy plenty of spin and height. My 4iron from 220 will dead stop. Swing speed is about the same as yours maybe a touch higher. Im 6'5. Whats your thougts on the 105s vs 105x?

I have been gaming Modus 105S +1" on my Ping i525. Looking to get Ping i530 & interested in getting Axiom 105S on longer irons 5, 6, 7 but on 8, 9, PW I need something heavier any recommendations? Should I consider Axiom 105x or 125s.

Why do you care about a spine when a shaft droops in the handle lags in the mid and leads in the tip? There is no straight line in there? It’s a timing mechanism more than anything but puring is bunk . The machine that does it doesn’t warrant its existence.
