Does anybody else notice that Neighbor is able to move his mouth & speak, but Dad, Daughter, and Mother aren't? (13:40) Dad only got this when he escaped and realized he had a voice, but when he came back he didn't.


I feel like Neighbor has a lot more to do with this than we think.

There is more to Dad. Live streams were done and deleted. Myself and others have transcribed them on r/dadfeels. Also, the female voice asking Dad to wake up is believed to be Other Daughter. Dad has hinted towards her on stream but also seems to fear her for unknown reasons. There has also been hints that Dad has had an affair with Dianne. Dad has also made references that he believes Mom has been "spending to much time" with Neighbor. One night we witnessed (in text. The screen was black and Dad couldn't talk.) Dad bringing his family on vacation. Then Neighbor showed up. As far as we could tell a fight ensued and the stream ended. The next night everything was fine. Almost as if Dad had been reset.

Unfortunately I became very busy with life happening early in this game. While Dad was streaming I had to sleep and free time was just at a premium for me. So thank you Nick for bringing me up to speed with this video. But I promise you there is more to Dad you haven't heard yet.

16 minutes in I understood. Dad is exactly like my real life Dad. He has lived his whole life accepting control. He was living the American dream, but now he realizes everything has been all wrong. Mom is not a loving wife, she is a controlling wife. The relationship is held together not by love, but by fear, and Dad has accepted it, but he can no longer live a lie.

Dad continuing to chop wood even when the wood falls off reminds me of Wife continuing to vacuum even when she drops it.
It's like they're programmed to continue these tasks even when something goes wrong, or glitches, or they are unable to recognize it.
Those two scenes were so similar.
