Rusak 3994 is an amphibious all-terrain vehicle with ultra-low pressure tires, designed and manufactured in Nizhny Novgorod. Designed for off-road driving of all types, including snow, tundra, swamp, sand, can overcome water obstacles.
The frame of the all-terrain vehicle is a sealed boat frame made of high-alloy steel, which does not become brittle at low temperatures and is resistant to corrosion. The lining of the all-terrain vehicle is made of composite materials and aluminum, the carcax of the body is steel. The walls and ceiling of the all-terrain vehicle interior are also finished with fiberglass.
The Rusak all-terrain vehicle uses two types of engines. In the basic modification — a conventional diesel engine located in front, under the hood. In the hybrid — two electric motors, with a capacity of 75 kW each, located between the first-second and third-fourth axes, respectively. Each of them drives 4 wheels. The electric motors are powered by a rechargeable battery, the electricity for which is generated by two small Nissan gasoline engines with a volume of 1.2 liters each. In this modification, one of them is located in front, under the hood, and the other is located in the back. Such "duplication" of engines is done in order to increase reliability — if one of the engines fails, the RUSAK will remain on the move.
In addition, even in case of failure of two engines, the all-terrain vehicle is equipped with an autonomous Webasto heating system and a backup battery.
The cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people.
Excellent cross-country ability on any surface of the all-terrain vehicle is provided by the unique low-pressure RUSAK tires, which were designed specifically for this all-terrain vehicle. The high ground clearance makes it easy to move fallen trees, stones, embankments, snowdrifts. Traction is evenly distributed between the 8 wheels, so the all-terrain vehicle can safely climb any hill. The drive is full, the steering wheels are 1 and 2 axles.
The maximum speed on land is 60 km/h
The maximum speed on the water is 10 km/h (with two water cannons).
On request, such options as an engine preheater, an autonomous interior heater, a tire pumping system, etc. can be installed in the all-terrain vehicle. All ATVs are assembled manually.
In addition to the 8-wheel version, 6- and 4-wheel models are also available.
