This normally isn't even my type of music, but my god Red Vox really is good. The way "it's a hell of a scene" was delivered is literally the best.

Interesting thing about the line "Only compete with yourself at your best" is it can be read in a number of ways.
For example, it could be interpreted as "Only compete with others when at peak performance"
or
"Only compete with yourself, and you'll improve"

The second kind of hearkens to the idea that in practicing a skill or doing anything really, your goal should be to simply do better than you have done previously, versus using others as a benchmark to your progress.

I noticed the transition between this and the last song, this plus the over all tone, ESPECIALLY the organ makes the Floyd influence super obvious. I fucking love it!

I normally don't get excited about new music but when it comes to Red Vox I get really excited, this is easily one of my favorite albums probably ever. Well done Vinny.

I really have a lot of admiration and respect for you guys and your music. It's really done wonders for my head state in a lot of ways.

There's just something about the way "Just let it be and settle for less" is delivered, the weird sort of mic feedback effect as he says "less", the sheer emotion, the drums, the guitar lick (if that's even the right term), it just feels so powerful...
