Показать описание
Superintendent Addison G. Davis and School Board Member Lynn Gray talk about the inaugural Race for Education. The perfect opportunity to get together and celebrate public schools education, our students, and educators while making mental and physical health a priority!
Gather your family members, coworkers, and friends and join us on Saturday, April 2, 2022, for our inaugural Race for Education 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk in partnership with Hillsborough Education Foundation.
Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are invited for a fun-filled race down North Boulevard, around Julian B. Lane Park, and over the Hillsborough River, taking in the sights of Downtown Tampa and enjoying student entertainment along the way.
There is also a 1-mile race option available for families, children, and walkers.
Registration will include a goodie bag with items from our partners, a race-day bib, a t-shirt, and a finisher medal. After the race, stay for the post-race snacks, refreshments, and awards ceremony.
Race for Education will begin near Blake High School (1701 N. Blvd. Tampa, FL US 33607). Free parking will be available in the Blake High School parking garage with overflow parking at Riverwalk STEM Academy at Just Elementary School and Stewart Middle Magnet School.
