Smarter in September: Smarter Balance — Improving Strength & Stability
Показать описание
Featuring: Sarah McCurley, BA — Certified Fitness Instructor, Master Barre Teacher and Trainer, Certified Yoga Teacher, and Zoom Fitness Instructor
We all know that we seem to lose our sense of balance as we age. In fact, balance begins to decline in midlife, and that decline accelerates with each decade. However, smarter habits and the right exercises can help your balance and go a long way toward preventing falls — and that’s where our first Smarter in September session comes in!
Tune in as Sarah McCurley, owner of MOVE with McCurley and a Journey presenter fave, takes us through a combination of activities designed to help improve balance and strength, reducing the risk of falls. She’ll start us off with a combination of chair yoga and regular yoga, move into some breathing exercises, then talk us through things we can do to not only improve balance, but help sustain it as we age. Join us for this fun and informational session and see if you don’t feel yourself walking taller!
