6 Tips for PreFall Dressing

Fall style? End of summer style? Fool’s Autumn style? Second Summer? What even is this time of year? I’m hot, I’m cold - what to do I wear? Well this week, we’re going to run through 6 tips for how to bridge your closet and wear your favorite pieces from both the warmer AND the cooler season together to get that wonderful sophisticated blend of the two. We’ll look at colors, materials, and both dressy and casual times you can blend together to get through the weird in between days of not quite fall yet.

Joseph, your channel is absolutely fantastic! Your outfit ideas are exactly what i look for when purchasing clothes these days. Funnily enough, i picked up quite a few heavy cable knit but all cream colored sweaters from J. Crew a couple years ago and those are my go to for " pre fall". I am a middle-aged gentleman. Your style examples are great inspirations. There are some that are right down my alley like 4:53 or 9:52 or and some that send chills down my spine like 3:26 or 11:20.
Finally, the time is coming for my Harrington and Barbour jackets, tweed sports coats and dress boots. I agree with you and your trench coat assessment. I live in the Greater Milwaukee Area, WI, I would like to bring it out more often but reserve it for the really rainy days. Whenever I wear my trench coat, I get looked at like coming from Mars. It is not a regular sight anymore.

Excellent video as I have always struggled with the transitional month or two from summer into Fall. The heart wants to go straight to fall but the mind knows some of these fabrics are still too warm and heavy for the weather. Count me subscribed.
