Taking an Arabic college class. One of the assignments was differentiating the “th” sounds

I had to look this up, as a native English speaker, because I’m teaching English as a second language. I don’t like this, and the difference is so small that it’s hard for me even.

I mainly came here because the word ‘clothes’ is considered a hard th, which I can’t see. I’m trying my hardest to pronounce it as a hard th and I’m not getting it to sound natural and I hate it.
