You should be happy about not taking off the 7th! Because if its anything like the launch and new seasons, you dont have to deal with login and crashing issues that they wont be able to hotfix or patch till the 8th anyhow. They did you a favor man! Now you have the 8th off when it actually works and not banging your head on the desk all day on the 7th when its broken.

Unless you are on the West coast then you shouldnt have much issues getting home to play. Though, if you work nights, then yes, RIP.

Really wouldn't be hard for Blizz to have coded the date banner to your time zone. The game knows your local time. Small developer effort could've prevented US player confusion.

i think its like that for a world wide release at the same time so date and time differ per region the 8th for me is the 7th for you

I removed the throttle limit on DL and it is still DLing at only 1.5mb/ sec. Pretty much the same as it was before I changed that setting. I tried DLing a non-Blizzard game and did not have slow speeds like this. Obviously it is not my internet speed. I can only assume it is on Blizzard’s end of the DL that is causing it to be so slow.

Uhm...you get the game at the end of the working day on the 7th, so you get it even earlier. So why complain that you took off on the 8th? it gets released on the 8th for more than 75% of the world. I see no problems.
Just appreciate that you get it even earlier.
