South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg held a campaign event at the National Cattle Congress in Waterloo, Iowa 2 days before the Iowa Caucuses.

Mayor Pete touted what he said was the way Democrats would win back the White House from Trump in 2020, saying:

“If you think about it, every time my party has earned the White House in the past 50 years, it has been with a candidate who was new to national politics, focused on the future, not caught up in the ways of Washington, and opening the door to a new generation of leadership. That’s how we win!”
