This engine is so underrated such a reliable fun engine. I wish I had the money to get a turbo set up for it, it’s already fun just having it with vtec can only image how fun it would be for this build would be

Hell yeah! Not enough people build F powered civics. I love those engines. I have an F20b for NA and an F23 I'm building for boost. I'd rather use the F23 as there are more of them and they are cheap if something goes wrong, plus I'm not looking for more than 350 hp anyways so I don't need a fancy cylinder head. I would like to use a smaller turbo so I can get at least 320 torque at lower rpm.

That flywheel chatter tho. Mine is the same on my D16y8 after i upgraded the clutch and flywheel to a lightweight configuration. Shifts instantly stays in power so well i smoked a few of the later 2000s SIs 3rd-5th

Yeah swapped a usdm f23a2 for the jdm f23a, worst decision ever motor is not only weaker power wise but has already lost compression in #4 cylinder assuming as a result of the massive blow-by it has, compared options of H22-k24- f23/rebuilding bottomend with forged internals and boosting it but pistons for a forged pistons for f23 isnt easily found so far 😢

I have a q50 3.0t and i daily my accord and I have to pay the q50 off and warranty ends in 2 years so its only making about 450hp under warranty. 3800lbs. I’m a 20 year old that’s not really rick but i’ve really been getting into cars and i’m thinking about attempting to build my 98ex2.3l Do you have any website tips for doing this under a budget? I want to do this for learning purposes as well as having fun.
