WRC, it feels like it's make or break this year. Dakar have just shown us how to present rally coverage to the world - and it's not with 1min highlights and poor footage. Really hoping the promoter steps it up this year!

The only people that seem to be moving in the right direction are Dirtfish, and they clearly don't have the resources to make comprehensive coverage unfortunately. It's 2023 now, you can't lock everything behind a paywall, when the free coverage does nothing to encourage new fans to sign up.

Things we are missing:
- cameras behind the driver/codriver. Somehow the official coverage is able to make the WRC cars look slow quite often, particularly with the in car footage which is like watching a dashcam. Bring back that perspective, and what about helmet cameras?
- proper highlights of the day, have WRC+ for all live if that's what people want to watch, but do proper 30min highlights (or 15 morning, 15 afternoon) for people without a subscription
- More full length stages on youtube (winning time etc)
- Make the powerstage free again. This used to be available on redbull TV etc and is always good to watch as at least some of the cars are properly flat out
- reduced commentary on all live - commentators seem to have been told they need to fill every minute of the day with talking, which just isn't possible for anyone!
- social media, take notes from the dakar this year.

Surely this sport has some of the best potential content, but it seems the promoter thinks we are still in 2010. Typically some of the best rally video content comes from fans who upload their own highlights and footage (passats de canto etc).

Respect to these drivers for driving in the most of extreme conditions with speed and accuracy and concentration. It's unfortunate only the top 3 get prizes because it takes nerves. They should have extra kilo in the car allowance for their guts. ALL THE BEST THIS SEASON, MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!!

Wow look at how high up the top of the steering wheel is. Never noticed that before. Almost looks like i should be in the way of the view for the driver.

Anyone know how to access stage replays in wrc+? I'll miss a few tomorrow so I want to see this "on demand" stage watching that's advertised.

They need to use the BUMPER cam more - it conveys speed MUCH better than the cockpit cam. Why don't they show the BUMPER cam footage if they already have the cam installed???
