Meet my wife in the Philippines. She came from a very poor family. I’m 40 now. She is 8 years younger than I am. I make a good income so she never has to work. But when she arrived she wanted to pursue her career as a nurse. She passed her exam and works as a USRN. My wife hated hand outs. But I tell her she can do what she likes with her income since I can cover everything else. I’ve gifted her LV, Gucci, and Prada. But she still uses her 100 pesos purse. She only wanted a Honda as a car. She cleans, she cooks, and now she is a mom. You will never find a better partner, best friend and mother in your life time. It was never about the money. I’ve been here for 12 years since I was 25 years old in Cebu. “A grand, $1, 000, a month” is far from what it used to be. Inflation has caught up to the PH as well. If you’re simple and don’t go out or drink, then about 2, 000 is a comfortable number at the minimum, that’s until you have kids.

Okay, but as a Filipina, just be careful because some Filipinas may take your money and leave you once you get your green card. But yes, it's true, Filipinas can be very loving, hard working, and medicated wives and mothers.

I lived in the Philippines for 7 years but couldn't take the brownouts, humidity, can't own property, Healthcare, food, and many other reasons. It was an interesting experience, but Thailand is a lot better for my lifestyle. Filipinas are fun, but I always felt like a walking ATM. Good luck finding your partner, but I'd suggest living in the Philippines and would argue against bringing her to your home country. She will most likely change into something you will not like or recognize in awhile.

I did it 😅 not with this program but I did marry a Filipina who is 10 years younger than me. I’m only in early 30s but I figured it’s better to take the opportunity while it still exists. For the sake of the prosperity and population of my children’s future race as Amerasian, I strongly encourage more Americans to marry Filipinos.
