Have worked with Luke for many years. The music and the laughs on the road are priceless. The man never stops practicing his craft. Walk by his hotel room or dressing room you will hear him playing. On stage he puts the same energy into everyone else’s songs as his own. Blessed to know him.

00:1:33 - "...we're a team; he's [Joe Williams] gonna be my teammate for the rest of my life." - So nice to hear.

And yeah, social media can get pretty toxic even between people that know each other. I was never a big participant (even though I do dabble now and then) but it's amazing to me how many people I know who are nothing short of addicted to it.

Luke is open and honest on his take of things. He’s not going to start throwing mud...not his style. His experiences are part of his learning curve...even if he’s been screwed over. Enjoy talking to him...so humble. He’s prob my fav musician to have had the opportunity to be around. He’s a legend...period.

"Don't run around like a ballerina" is a spot-on description of that unnamed individual's stage presence.

He nailed it. Places like FB and Twitter have become kind of a cesspool and I spend a lot less time there...and even YouTube, tho this kind of video makes it worthwhile.

Got off Twitter last year because of the rage. I actually got called an " a&%hole " for tweeting " good morning. " Totally agree with Luke: Social media is soul sucking.

The amount of therapy coming for all haters ( social media and/or otherwise ). . .they have ZERO idea what it's going to cost them. Moral of the story: Always be kind, in business or just in dealing with people. Living with regret is the WORST form of cancer. Count on it.

Yeah I agree, I got off twitter you can't make everyone happy. In Steve L kind of work better to just stay neutral in the social media world. :)

i just think it's sad for luke to
deny that he really is behind
alot of the things he was talking
about as far as social media
is concerned. he'll say some
things and make some things
public, but when some of us
call him out on them....he
tries to run from them. he
keeps making reference to
some situations but cuts it off
when it comes to naming
anyone so that we can do
our own research on some
things and make our own minds
up about them. i caught him in a lie
about toto 14, he claimed that
none of the music on that album
was compressed, but all you needed to
do was listen to it. alot of people
on social media were all saying the
same thing. he came out and said ...
none of the music was compressed
and then low and behold...somebody
from the studio admitted it. listen, i
love lukes playing on almost all of his toto
work, his solo stuff not so much. i also
have a huge amount of respect for
the guy but, when a fan tries to get political
just tell them you don't talk politics. i've
seen on twitter and facebook that he
gets political, so it seems that if you don't want
anyone to question you on politics...just
stop talking about them on social media!!.
other than that ....stop complaining, you're
behind some of your own troubles!!!

Hi John. Who is the “he” that Steve refers to at 2:29 ? Who is he talking about who signed away all his rights ?

And I would imagine that person will still get invited to son Trev’s wedding to Jonathan Cain’s daughter. They’ve both shared the same losses. At the end of the day they’re brothers from different mothers. They’re both being very measured in what they say, but it’s healthy what’s getting out. I don’t see a long term rift. Maybe just a healthy distance.

He must be talking about Steve Porcaro here then he proceeds to say, "We're done!" which, I assume, means that Toto is over forever: 2:24
