Hey.
Very nice rig out there !
I owned Quad II, there are few amps can beat the Quads mids.
I own Thorens TD 124 Mk I, with Ortofon RMG 309 12" tone arm and Ortofon Type C cartridge...Yes, quite a marriage, very rare seen together. (pro broadcast in the 60's )
I upgraded all my xover speakers, internal cables, binding posts, what an enormous difference.
Then, i decided to add 2 little Rel Quakes to my bedroom system. Let's say some of my friends couldn't believe their ears. ( Owners of €€€€ hi end systems ). Btw, i did some upgrade components on my Rels also.
