I've seen so many people just give up on their careers because of the stress and hardships they had. But winning through that makes them a real winner. I really respect all these athletes for not giving up until the end.

Most of us have a favourite athlete and it's usually someone from our own country. Mine is Spyros Gianniotis. The guy after two previous atempts in the Olympics (Athens, Beijing) he came close to an Olympic medal in London, when he finished 4th in the Open Water 10km race. He was crying at the after race interview because he was already 32yo and he knew that this was probably his last atempt on winning an Olympic medal. Four years later he came back for one last time at 36yo and won the silver medal. I will never forget that day.
