Volvo V70 Projector headlights and LED bulb conversion

This video shows projectors headlights and exterior LED bulb conversion on my 2002 Volvo V70 2.4T.

Front parking lights / turn signals are JDM Astar 1157.
Rear turn signals are JDM Astar 7507
stop lights are Philips Vision 1156
Top tail light is Philips Vision 1156
bottom tail light / fog light is a modified Philips Vision 1157

Hi. Can you tell me what is that thing with small resistor and where do you plug in it? And about this large orange resistor-is that 50W 6ohm? Sorry for my english. :)

With the resistor, is it true that now the car cannot detect if the lamp fails ?

Could you give some more detail on the resistor installation? I have no idea what that object was that you pulled out of the fuse box that had five terminals on it.

Awesome! Thanks for the video it was just what I was looking for. I have a question & I think you are the guy to ask this I have 2004 xc70 & It comes with fog tail lights but only the driver side becomes brighter. I know its like that from factory but I want both tail lights to be the same brightness. Is there a safe way to do this?

Did you have to do anything special to get the tail lights to fit? I've went to order those tail lights because I want the LEDs on the sides and the website says that they won't fit my 2003 XC70.
