At Memorial Cup 2024, hosted by Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan, DK Security played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the 10-day international hockey tournament. With over 100 DK Security staff members providing event security, the Canadian Hockey League championship was our largest-ever call for security in Saginaw.

One standout moment during the tournament was captured in a special highlight video provided by the Drummondville Voltigeurs, who were visiting from Quebec. The video features DK event security guard Gilbert Bandy, whose consistent professionalism and hospitality caught the attention of Voltigeurs staff. Impressed by Gilbert’s demeanor, the Voltigeurs invited him to read off the starting lineup to the players in the locker room before one of their games. Gilbert’s hard work and dedication led to this special honor, and the Voltigeurs’ video aired on TSN (Toronto Sports Network).

Dow Event Center made history by hosting the CHL championship in Michigan for the first time in its 104-year history.
