a new multiplayer mode, lazer's beatmap submission system, and an official iOS release are in the osu! ovens. before they're done cooking though, we have some other updates to cover.

I’m not a heavy osu player at all but these update videos are so enjoyable to watch. Following lazer updates is one of my hobbies now.

I just want to thank the osu! team for keeping Stable around while the new version hasn't reached feature parity yet. Overwatch didn't do that, Counter Strike didn't do that, and both of them suffer because of it. Thanks for not shoving Lazer down player's throats.

I would love to see tournaments somehow implemented into the client. Something like a tab which shows which community tournaments that are happening soon or which are happening right now that either redirects to the forum post or a livestream. i think it would be pretty cool

All I want for now is for my Lazer profile to not be empty 🥲 Lazer players be like: "This user hasn't done anything notable recently"... It's so sad... Let us appear in Stable leaderboards, or at least showcase our high ranking plays in "Recent" just like it works for Stable... How long will we appear AFK and remain invisible to the vast majority of the playerbase?

4:02 I don't know if I speak for everyone but I greatly prefer the relax mod that clicks -3ms which used to be on lazer as opposed to -12ms on stable, it felt a lot cleaner on lazer as it was imo

There is one small thing that I like in stable that isn't in lazer. In the login screen, if you instead of logging in, type a random username, your local plays will be saved with that name as well. In lazer it would just be Guest. It's super useful for an offline player like me.

love what the team are doing and its amazing we get soo much community interaction from ppy which alot of game devs really dont do so i am super greatful.
If u see this can u push skinning ahead, i know its in the pipeline but i find its something super urgent that needs to be added. a basic example is im someone who plays with my hud off like i used to in stable and in stable the UR bar maintains on screen when the hud is toggled but because of how skinning is i have to go into every skin and manually adjust that. i would love to see a global options menu for skinning that applies elements to all skins with it being a togglable option in the settings so those like myself who want elements to trasnfer over to and those who dont, dont.
