In Texas we hit the horn and slowly roll across the red light

In the Uk, it was still illegal to cross a red light even there’s an emergency vehicle behind you.

The majority of emergency vehicles will wait for the lights to change and traffic to move.

What if you literally cannot move anywhere, 2 lane road, one way street with traffic moving right to left, and you're on the left side with cars to your right and behind you. Do you still proceed with caution, through a red light and intersection, going against traffic, to get ahead of the cars on your right? or do you sit tight, blinker on, until the light turns green, then move to the right, hoping the other cars will let you merge with them?

I've wondered about this forever! So you basically ease forward and to the right in front of the car next to you at the light. And when the light turns green you straighten out and go on your way.

If u can move over to the right or left without moving into the intersection that would be great at the place I work at we take off our lights n sirens at lights because ppl go into the intersection we don’t wanna cause an accident 🧍‍♀️but pleaseeee don’t slam on ur brakes when we’re behind u or if we’re going on the right shoulder going thru traffic please to get on the shoulder check to see where we’re at 😭

I had this happen to me and I didn't panic but I was freaked out a bit cuz I didn't know what to do. So I was all the way left making a left turn when I seen EMS full emergency equipment activated he was coming right behind me and I turned left on a red light I had the open no cars where coming I remember the ambulance driver giving me a dirty look as he drove by I didn't know if I did the right thang. I guess I didn't but I would do the same in that situation if it ever happens again.

That doesn't help you with the camera ticket though. Why wouldn't you get a camera ticket. It's not garenteed that the ambulance will be in the picture.
