The Ptichfork is the Legendary Dahl sniper in Borderlands 2. It only drops from Terramorphous the Invincible or as a world drop. It is very, very ammo inefficient, and because of that, I can't really recommend its use for any situation.

Because it has unlisted projectiles, it is broken with the bee shield.

I got one of these at level 45 or so in the vanilla game. It's not *horrible* in TVHM, but I think whatever niche roles it may have filled have been effectively replaced by the Pimpernel.

I find the Pitchfork to be best on larger enemies like the enforcers or large bosses. Unfortunately it is very ammo inefficient as mentioned. Also, I find that dahl snipers in general are better used un-scoped an used more like a pistol. Been using a purple Dahl fire sniper with all dahl parts except with a vladolf barrel and it can shred pretty well.
