It's certainly an unusual gimmick for a scribe, David, tho' I'm not sold on the orientation for the fountain pen version - that's entirely too fiddly - & you couldn't use an iron gall ink in the converter - for obvious reasons (tho' that may appeal to some purchasers); second, any more violent spiining may result in the finish being abraded by the (surrounding) ring on the mount. No doubt, a film Properties buyer may invest in the writing instrument for a futuristic Sci-Fi movie project, but beyond that, it's not something I would readily endorse; clever concept, & I wish Novara every success !! Thank you for your overview 🙂

Interesting concept that I would certainly "play" with ... and then regret. I agree with your assessment, especially with the idea that the nib should be pointed down to be more convenient, but that would also risk an ink-filled cap. Hmm ... quandary.

The ink was also interesting and I like the wooden stand. It would have been a little nicer if the edges and corners had been beveled just a bit.

Great video thank you! In your opinion do you prefer the 2.0 interstellar version or the 3.0 future edition? From your videos I think I prefer the 2.0 as you have the machined edges that emphasises the spinning whereas the 3.0 is evenly rounded and it’s harder to see it spinning. It also seems to spin better than the 3.0? In my opinion the fountain pen conversion isn’t important as you are buying this for the fun factor of spinning it and that means it’s going to leak ink if you have the fountain pen conversion installed. So if you were going to use both as a roller ball pen which one would you prefer? 🤔

Hi, You seem to know a lot about pens. Have you ever heard of XV Limited Edition Black ballpoint pens (ultra smooth advanced ink). I believe they were made for a limited time for the Family Dollar. I'm having a hard time finding this XV company, what happened to them and where I could possibly find those/similar pens again. It was legit the smoothest ball point I have ever used.

It would be nice if they added like a little bright light on top or part of the top. Either Harry Potter edition or LOTR edition May It Be a Light to You in Dark Places, When All Other Lights Go Out. LOTR.
