So for the fruit and veggie washer, make sure to do a control test where you just stir them around in water for five minutes without the device. Compare then, cause a ton of people are saying it's just the stirring that's doing anything

lol, as a MUA I'm HOWLING at that glitter lip kit. You can literally just get lip-safe glitter and add it on top of lipstick or lip gloss. We've been knowing this and I can almost guarantee you buying the two separately is cheaper. 🤣

I am extremely skeptical of the fruit and veggie washer. To me I think that is suppose to be an LED to disinfect and the water is to simply wash. Which washing fruit and vegetables is important because it helps remove extra dirt, bugs (who enjoy these foods too) and pesticides which are sprayed on farms, however I can't be sure if the LED washer thing is doing much of anything when you have to manually stir the water anyway.

Another hack for ice cubes is to buy rubbery ice trays instead. That way they come out easily and very equally and usually come in cute shapes. (My cousin has a penguin one and my grandma has ones In the shape of flowers)

I feel like Anne Reardon of How to Cook That tried the fruit and veggie washer compared to just washing and stirring. I don't remember the results but I don't think it was actually different. Anyways for anyone questioning it, there's a person that actually tried it and is well versed in food science so you can check out those results

The color of the water is not from the fruits but made from the machine itself. The color is oxidized metal. It happens when you take two metal plates into water and pass electricity through them.
Don't drink the water or eat the fruits you have used.

I have the ice maker thing, but a different version that definitely works a lot better. I quite like it. To get the ice out for mine, you use the lid that has little spikes on it and press down to push the ice out.

For the ice cubes you should get a silicone ice tray. They're super cheap and super well. If however you don't have a silicone one, I always put an empty ice tray over top of the tray (water filled side on top of the ice) and then twist. And over the sink so there's no mess to clean. Keeps ice flakes and cubes from flying everywhere. You'll probably still have some from the edges but it's a nice lil trick.
