I logged my vertigo attacks for 10 months last year. I average nearly 3 per week. Thanks for teaching me about this! I was logging them expecting to get 30 percent.

I had my ear drums shattered by a 122 rocket landing 20 ft away, lost hearing for about a hour the ringing was very load. When I got out I had a bad vertigo attack and a private doctor told me I had shattered ear drums and i she go to the VA. I went to the VA they gave me a hearing test and said yes you have hearing loss thanks for coming in. For years after my wife kept telling me to get my hearing taken care of. Finally in 2006 with me trying to go through VA they gave me 10% for tinnitus I said what about my hearing loss after 3 hearing test through the VA the automatically gave me 40% for hearing loss in 2019 it only took 48 year to get it.

2. Higher Level Review for migraine.
The issue of migraine was returned for correction of a duty to assist error in the prior decision.
We failed to get an examination(s) and/or medical opinion(s). We will develop for a medical
opinion.
Favorable Findings identified in this decision:
Participation in a toxic exposure risk activity is conceded. TERA Memo concedes participation
in a TERA based on your Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) as Rifleman.
You have been diagnosed with a disability. VA examination dated August 22, 2023, shows you
are diagnosed with migraines.
The claimed primary disability is service-connected. You are service connected for tinnitus

I got 0% Tennitus and 0% hearing loss according to my 1st C&P examiner.

Getting a 2nd C&P exam coming up in a week.

I worked on flightline for over a decade, Tennitus started after 1st week on flightline.

My esr rjngs 24/7/365 with occasional increase in amplitude(increase in ringing volume) for no apparent reason.

Have no military mefical record, have no buddy, have no nexus and I'm 65 discharged @1989.

On discharge, Airforce told me I have NO disability claim and everything is "normal".

I just filed for tinnitus on 09-24-24. And I am currently at 10% for left knee osteochondroma. I applied for increase way back in 2011. And mind you this was after I had knee surgery at the VA hospital in Los Angeles. Well long story short I was denied an increase and I’ve been at a 10% rating for years now. If I don’t get approved for my tinnitus then I’m just going to give up on the VA

I have ringing in the ear for about 5 mins once a week. Recently, I've been staggering once that happens, and also, the headaches sometimes bring on the vertigo. I didn't know what it was

I’m still in active duty and trying to get diagnosis for tinnitus. What should I tell my provider and what questions my provider might ask me? Thank you guys!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. When I go report medical problems that I have had for a few years now, should I tell them I’ve had the issue whatever it may be for a few years or should I say it just started happening? I haven’t gone to medical for many things. Thanks for any help you can give me.
