VW Polo EPC Light Fix

How to fix the EPC warning light on a Volkswagen VW Polo 9N (2003 model).
Engine code: AZQ
VW EPC Light Car Shaking in VW Polo 9N 2003 1.2 AZQ Check Throttle body connector. Throttle goes up and down.
Remove the throttle body connector from the throttle body housing and re-insert it into the throttle body.
When you reinstall the connector make sure it clicks back in place so it does not get unplugged or loose while you are driving.
No tools needed, no spray needed and nothing else needed other than your hands.

The throttle body connector is responsible to send to the car ECU data about the throttle position using the throttle positioning sensor.
Multiple sensors work together to feed the car ECU real-time data about the state of the throttle body flap.
The throttle body flap adjusts the amount of air intake into the engine and this mixed with the fuel injectors and ignition system makes the car engine rev-up or down as you press the gas pedal.
Long story I know but I like these things haha.

The problem is while driving, the EPC light turns on and the car runs poorly. The fuel trim becomes rich. It smells like petrol behind the car. This is the limp home mode that allows you to drive the car home.
If you stop the engine, the EPC warning light might go away or stay and after turning the ignition on in the car, the engine keeps revving up and down while in idle. The car cannot be driven at this point and it must be fixed.
These symptoms together with the EPC light and OBD2 scanner or VAG-COM error codes related to the throttle body mean there is an error with the throttle body itself which can be expensive or with the electrical wiring near the throttle body.

At this point it's a good idea to check the electrical connections on the throttle body. Steps shown in the video. You can use WD-40 to spray on the connector before re-inserting it but if you are on the road and don't have spray, it's enough to remove and re-insert the connector to improve electrical contacts connection.

After you get back home, you can check VAG-COM VCDS Engine codes for throttle positioning sensors.

Thank you will try this and look at the throttle body closely. In the past I replaced an ignition coil after OBD2 error msg pointed to cylinder 4 which also worked.

Had EPC light on, Volkswagen ran diagnostics and found nothing, i discovered blown light bulbs, replaced it and light disappeared EPC light disappeared, might help someone.

Hi my polo blm does not rev at all because of that epc light not coming off, ive checked throttle body, crank sensor you named them but no changes, we also tried to change the paddle and still not revving

Hello dear, my car lights EPC after i start driving if i press on fuel on the level 1-2-3 gear in the morning, but it does not get crazy with the RPM it only make the car heavier, then when i switch off and switch on its gone and never get back if the the car temperature is on its normal, so should i do what you did here?

Need help when i shifting gear to drive it has some delay and start to jerk thud sound when you step to accelerator.
And while running everytime you play with accelerator its jerking and thud sound.

Problem i have though is on cold start the revs is normal 750rpm instead of higher to compensate for cold engine and drives difficult when still cokd, what can it be?
