This was quite fun to play. I was a part of the original ensemble that this was commissioned for and it was very enjoyable to play, especially for the saxophone.

Oh shoot, gotta play that sax solo for the spring concert
Problem 1: it's hard
Problem 2: coronavirus

I begged and pleaded for my band director to let us play a difficult piece for my senior year concert and this is what we got lol. Easily the best and most difficult piece my small band had ever played and I still remember the end sax solo like it was yesterday. The prefect final hurrah for me and all the other seniors :)

This is the most jazz I’ve heard in a while. I had to play this in concert band and it was the most fun I’ve had playing a piece

I play this on euphonium in the band. Not only is it catchy, but it's all-around a joy to play. There are so many memorable and beautiful moments! I cannot wait to play this for ratings. :)

Just performed this today with my band. Probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever played, it’s so catchy and fun to play, even as a bass instrument

As a highschool bassoonist, this piece is so much frickin fun. I get to play the fun bits with the high winds and then immediately do the same with low brass. This piece is so much fun!

I know the girl who played the trumpet solo in this particular version, she’s a real cool girl and did a great job!

I played the clarinet for this, and it has got to be my favorite piece to play of all time

Playing this in a concert soon, as one of the three bass clarinets, my instructor gave me a Contra-alto clarinet part because she thought it fit my "need to always play the lower octave" (it does fit) I enjoy playing it, the fun speedy little part with the Trombones is also great!

What an honor it is to play this piece, I must say.

Currently practicing this for my band, everybody loves the entire piece and its definitely the highlight of the year even with it being performed for our first concert and a whole other batch of music being played for our second. I have to compliment the composition because it has an enjoyable part for pretty much every instrument. And even when it doesnt the parts that do play make u bob along with the beat our of pure enjoyment. The alto sax and trumpet solos are amazing to hear and the brass melody by the middle excites every brass player in the room. 10/10 piece, probably my favorite ever

My Band director, Jim Allder, really wanted us to play this for our spring concert in 2020, but thanks to COVID19, we couldn't. I still love hearing it though!
